Meet the Staff

Each member of Quintessentially's team has years of experience and is an expert in his or her field, with a wealth of contacts and connections. All share a passion for quality wherever it is found and are committed to seeking it out for Quintessentially's members.

Our staff now comprises almost 700 people globally, and the below sections show just a sample of our staff.

Canada: Vancouver Office

Andrew Newman | CEO

Andrew attended The City University Business School in London and started his business career at Smith New Court, a leading City of London ‘market-maker’. Andrew has traded in equities and was one of the last people to deal traded options on the stock market floor itself. Andrew moved into the world of travel through his time at Jardine Mathieson in the Asia Pacific region and at Gulliver’s (the world’s largest hotel and land arrangements wholesale travel agent) where he was the Sales Manager for emerging markets such as Russia and Eastern Europe. After a brief stint in PR, Andrew returned to the travel industry with needahotel.com where he managed corporate accounts for over 3,000 UK based retail travel agencies. Andrew and his family immigrated to Vancouver in 2004, and along with his new life, came a new career in the real estate industry. Andrew is looking forward to drawing upon all of his past work experience to help him fulfill his new role as Chief Executive Officer of Quintessentially Canada.

Galit Alon | Head of Business Development

To Galit, success is measured as the ability to make a difference in the world. A true entrepreneur at heart, Galit started a clothing company upon completion of her BA at the University of Victoria, British Columbia and then continued on to own and operate a food manufacturing company, which she sold in 2008. She proceeded to work for the only franchised event planning company in the world and quickly ventured off to work independently and start her own company. She has worked as a CFO in a public company and as a consultant for various start-up companies. Ambitious and passionate about each project she takes on, Galit loves to give back to her community, family and friends. She speaks four languages -English, Spanish, Hebrew and French and when she’s not working overtime Galit is taking a dance class or cooking up a feast for a dinner party. Galit is a business-oriented and caring people-person who enjoys taking on new challenges and she truly sees no limitations to what she can achieve.
