Meet the Staff

Each member of Quintessentially's team has years of experience and is an expert in his or her field, with a wealth of contacts and connections. All share a passion for quality wherever it is found and are committed to seeking it out for Quintessentially's members.

Our staff now comprises almost 700 people globally, and the below sections show just a sample of our staff.

Japan

Naomi Mano | President & Representative Director

Born in the US, Naomi spent her youth moving between the US and Japan. After graduating from university, Naomi began her career at IBM, spending a total of 12 years in brand management roles in the IT industry, from PR, VIP hosting and Event Marketing, to Marketing Manager for the AP region. She then spent 2 years in a large financial institution as the Head of Corporate Communications & Marketing Promotions. Being well-travelled, bilingual, and bicultural, Naomi brings the world that’s ‘lost in translation’ to a much closer, Quintessentially-friendly, and exciting place to be.

Mika Takemura | Event Marketing Manager

Mika was raised in Southern California, and graduated from Boston University with a international marketing degree before returning to Tokyo in 1994. She spent 8 years in sports marketing, working on international events such as the 1998 Winter Olympics and 2002 World Cup for sponsors such as IBM and MasterCard. Her work also took her to Hong Kong and Singapore for a few years before returning back to Tokyo in 2004 working in an urban marketing agency organizing events, club parties and art exhibitions for trendsetters and opinion leaders. Mika enjoys singing in a band, travelling, film, musicals and great restaurants.
