Meet the Staff

Each member of Quintessentially's team has years of experience and is an expert in his or her field, with a wealth of contacts and connections. All share a passion for quality wherever it is found and are committed to seeking it out for Quintessentially's members.

Our staff now comprises almost 700 people globally, and the below sections show just a sample of our staff.

Portugal

James Wigan | CEO Managing Director

A true Europhile, James was born to an English father and an Italian/Hungarian mother and raised in Portugal. Having graduated from the École Hotelière de Lausanne, Switzerland, James was instantly drawn to the customer service industry due to his sociable and outgoing character. His passion for his homeland led him to head up Quintessentially Portugal towards the end of 2009. Then, in June 2011, James branched out to take on Quintessentially Spain as well.

Mafalda Ferreira Lima | Administrative Assistant

Born and raised in Portugal, Mafalda left home to study in England and Brussels, where she began her career. Returning to her native country, Malfada enjoyed a successful career in events and public relations for over a decade. Most recently, Malfada has split her time between Brazil and Portugal, working as PR for the World Match Racing Tour. Mafalda is an extremely capable and cheerful multi-tasker and is delighted to have joined the Quintessentially team to support the company’s daily operations. Outside of the office, Malfada is a passionate cook and loves floristry, while anything to do with the beach, the sea and waves makes her happy.
