Chez Patrick Peel Street
Chez Patrick is a truly authentic French restaurant offering fine dining in a casual and homely environment. Chef Patrick changes the menu every week, likes to give his guests a warm personal greeting and his animated explanation of his culinary creations is an experience not to be missed. It was Chef Patrick’s intention to recreate the ambience of a typical Parisian apartment, and with the simple wooden flooring, white wall panels and stylish furnishings, this has certainly been achieved.
Born in a small village near Lyon in France, Patrick Goubier was serious about food from a young age. He has travelled the world since, and while his fare is intrinsically French, he often introduces new twists and ingredients he has picked up along the way in his various career postings. He met his wife, Xuyen, with whom he works closely while working in Vietnam. He then came to Hong Kong in 2002 and headed up the famous Chez Moi. Then it was time for his own venture, and we’ve been enjoying the fruits of his labour ever since.

Hong Kong
City Guide
Hong Kong has long been known as “The Pearl of the Orient” but, in recent years, it has developed a reputation as Asia’s “World City”. Its booming economy attracts big spenders who demand the best in dining, partying and – of course – retail. But it’s not all modern glitz and glamour. Much of the city’s charm lies in the juxtaposition of glass and steel skyscrapers next to old colonial buildings and ancient temples. Hong Kong also boasts a strong spiritual connection – you’ll find the world’s largest outdoor seated Buddha standing guard on the mountains of Lantau and Taoist deities at Wong Tai Sin Temple.
