50 Supercars, seven days, six parties, two track events, one charity and one adventure. Auzrun is a seven day super car event that begins in Adelaide and travels through picturesque locations including along the Great Ocean Road and finishes on the Gold Coast. Whilst supporting the Make a Wish Foundation, Auzrun will leave from Adelaide on 1st March before visiting Torquay via the Great Ocean Road, then onto Melbourne after stopping for a track day at Sandown. The route will then go across to Sydney then out to Eastern Creek for the 2nd track day and the event will be rounded off on the Gold Coast five days later. From the 9th to the 30th of January, the city of Sydney comes alive with outdoor concerts, music, theatre, dance, visual arts, and family events. The festival begins with the opening night at Hyde Park; the park will be transformed into a spice garden where a sumptuous feast takes place. Entertainment will include Kasey Chambers, the Qantas Domain Concert, and the first ever Australian performance by legendary soul and gospel singer Al Green. Throughout the month there are dozens of productions taking place at the Sydney Theatre including Shakespeare’s Hamlet. The winter Olympics in Vancouver are set to be the best winter Olympics to date. The opening ceremony is taking place on 12th February 2010 and, after 16 days of thrilling competition, the games will close on 28th February.

All the arenas are on schedule and are ready to host their events. The games are taking place within easy reach of Vancouver and Whistler, and the logistics of a trip there should be straight forward. It takes approximately two hours to drive the 200km from Vancouver to Whistler, and one of the roads is reserved for buses and other official transport.
