The Cullen Hotel is the first of six luxurious, art-themed hotels named and inspired by famous Australian artists. Featuring original artwork and prints by one of Australia’s most fearless and exciting contemporary art stars Adam Cullen, the hotel’s spectacular views of central Melbourne, state of the art gym and two exciting restaurants have made The Cullen Hotel one of the hippest hangouts in town.
The hotel’s Mediterranean Terrace Bar and Bistro serves up tasty cuisine al fresco, and if you’re craving dumplings then pop along to Melbourne favourite the Hu Tong Dumpling Bar. Given its arty bent, naturally the hotel has its own in-house curator. Jane O’Neill is on hand to give guests a deeper insight into the works of Adam Cullen, while the hotel’s Ornate Hair Salon will ensure you’re always looking five-star fabulous for that special event. Or if you’re feeling adventurous, the hotel’s friendly and capable staff can help you hire a bicycle (or a Smart car if you’re feeling lazy) to explore and discover Melbourne’s hidden secrets. Q members will receive discounted rates and upgrades; see Australia/Travel/Melbourne/TheCullen for more information.
The Asian jewel in the Rockpool crown, Spice Temple raises the bar for Chinese cuisine in Sydney. A modern Chinese restaurant, driven by a philosophy which incorporates the best service, a respect for the highest quality produce and a commitment to super-cool restaurant design, it focuses on preparing regional Chinese food while avoiding well-known Cantonese fare. Spice fiends will love this elegant, underground and sexy restaurant, which brings together an exquisite cocktail list, a modern take on traditional Chinese dishes, friendly service and the perfect 100-bottle wine list. This really is Asian dining at its finest and most beautiful.
Quintessentially members will have access to priority bookings. See Australia/Restaurants/Sydney/SpiceTemple for more information.
