Bernd Schlacher, the man behind the cafés, bars and restaurants Motto, Halle and Kunsthalle, made the fusty Twin City Liner shipping pier to one of Vienna’s places to be. The stylish 'Motto am Fluss' opened in July and has two newly built floors with a huge outdoor area for guests to relax in. The futuristic building, designed by BEHF, is a figurehead of contemporary Austrian architecture and upgrades the area around the Danube Channel.
The innovative concept of café, restaurant, bar and shop, offering take away snacks, breakfast, lunch and dinner, means guests can indulge in freshly made bread, delicious bakery specialties and the best cocktails in town, all under one roof.
