Quintessentially Education

Quintessentially Education is made up of a team of dedicated educational experts offering a full spectrum of services including tuition, school placements, summer and residential courses, guardianship and university coaching.

School and University Placements
The placement service starts with an introductory assessment to help understand what steps need to be taken regarding the child’s educational career. Assessments are implemented by expertly trained staff and use the most current and accurate tools available in educational development.

Quintessentially Education helps answer critical dilemmas such as whether the child should be a boarding or day pupil and whether they would be best suited in a city or countryside-based school. They are also experts in managing children with learning difficulties such as Dyslexia, Dyspraxia and ADD/ADHD.
The placement service includes:-
Preparation – A post-assessment, in-depth discussion detailing the suggested schools/universities.
School/University choices – A full report on each of the shortlisted schools/universities.
School/University liaisons – Consult, negotiate, and make personal recommendations to these selected schools/universities on your behalf. Also ensuring mutual understanding between the parents’ expectations of the school/university and the school/university’s expectations of the child.
School/University visits – Make recommendations and organise special visits to up to 5 chosen schools/universities, providing a QED consultant to accompany the child/family on these visits.
Documentation – Organise schools/universities reports and collect a personal statement from the student, preparing and sending necessary registration documents to the recommended school/university. Management of any offer letters and ensure that the correct documentation is in place and coordinating payments.

Tuition
Quintessentially Education has some of the most experienced and effective personal tutors in London, all them young, motivated and with top academic qualifications (mostly from Oxford or Cambridge). Quintessentially Education liaises with tutors regularly and at all times ensure that they provide a written report for every private tuition session.
They devise bespoke tuition strategies for each individual child, so that every educational need is addressed. Their tutors are selected for their own academic ability and trained specifically to teach using a unique tuition philosophy.
They can cover all subjects and will prepare your children for any exams that occur within the UK educational system. For those who desire one-to-one learning, they also offer a fantastic home-tutoring service.  Their personal tutors can travel anywhere in the world, and in so doing can assist you and your children in any place at any time.

Courses
Quintessentially Education’s bespoke courses are incredibly popular and have received glowing praise from parents, and indeed from children. Each course is carefully tailored to the child and reaches far beyond the classroom.

There are three main skill sets that the courses target:-

Life skills – Parents can choose from a range of modules, mainly aimed at helping with the transition to adulthood.
Sports and culture – They aim to find and encourage an affinity and develop it into a lifelong passion, through extracurricular activities and holiday courses.

Guardianship
The Quintessentially Education Guardianship service is far from the basic homestay service offered by other guardianship agencies. It is unique in that they do not simply offer a signed letter stating they are guardians for the purpose of gaining admission into a UK school; they use guardianship to help integrate students into the British culture, adopting a more personal, intimate and tailored approach, involving themselves in each and every way possible.
Guardianship families are local and live within an hour’s drive of the schools; on hand 24/7 in case of an emergency. They are very involved in the child’s schooling, there to help resolve any issues regarding tuition needs and pastoral care. Most importantly, they are genuinely concerned about the overall well-being and happiness of the child.
